Capcom has just announced the release of a new DLC minigame called Leon Must Die Forever, which is now available for free on Resident Evil Requiem across all platforms.
Similar to the popular Ethan Must Die mode in Resident Evil 7, Leon Must Die Forever is a challenging bonus game mode that unlocks after completing the main story. Players will once again step into the shoes of Leon Kennedy, facing stronger enemies, tougher ranks, and a race against time to defeat the final boss.
Throughout the game, players can fill an enhancement gauge by defeating enemies, unlocking exclusive “enhancer abilities” that vary with each playthrough.
In addition to the new game mode, Capcom has included the following updates:
- Various bug fixes have been implemented across all platforms
- Added support for the DualSense® wireless controller’s features on PC, including adaptive triggers, haptic feedback, and motion sensors
Resident Evil Requiem has already become the fastest-selling game in the franchise, surpassing 6 million copies sold since its release at the end of February. To keep players engaged, Capcom is working on story DLC, but in the meantime, they have released this exciting freebie.
Receiving high praise, including a 9/10 rating from us, Resident Evil Requiem has been praised for its immersive gameplay experience and nostalgic references to earlier games in the series.
“Resident Evil Requiem is a standout addition to the series, offering a blend of familiar elements and new surprises for fans. The game’s rich lore and intense gameplay make it a must-play for both longtime fans and newcomers,” said Steve, a gaming expert. “It truly stands out as one of the best entries in the franchise.”
