Rejoice, Doormaker haters, for Mega Crit have removed him from Slay the Spire 2 in favour of a brand new boss

Another update has arrived for Slay the Spire 2, this time in the form of beta version v0.105.0. Developer Mega Crit has announced that they will now be implementing bi-weekly patches instead of weekly updates, allowing for more time to work on significant changes and gather feedback from beta players. This shift in patching frequency aims to improve the overall quality of the game and give players a chance to provide valuable input on new features and adjustments.

One of the notable additions in this update is the introduction of the Beastiary, a feature that showcases the various creatures in the game along with their animations and data. While the Beastiary is still a work in progress, players can enjoy exploring the different enemies and learning more about their characteristics at their own pace.

In terms of gameplay changes, the Doormaker boss has been replaced by Aeonglass. Mega Crit took into account player feedback regarding the Doormaker’s complexity and decided to start fresh with a new boss for Act 3. This change aims to provide a more balanced and engaging boss encounter for players to enjoy.

Alongside the boss change, the beta update includes various tweaks, buffs, nerfs, art additions, UI improvements, and writing fixes. Players can check out the full patch notes for more details on the changes implemented in this latest update.
