Apple concluded its Global Golden Anniversary with a spectacular gala event featuring Sir Paul McCartney at Apple Park. The event also served as a farewell for Apple CEO Tim Cook.
The final concert at Apple Park marked the end of three weeks of anniversary celebrations, starting with surprise performances by Alicia Keys at Apple’s Grand Central New York Store, Li Yuchun at Taikoo Li Apple Store in Chengdu, and Mumford & Sons at Apple Battersea in London.
The highlight of the celebrations was McCartney’s performance at Apple Park, where he delighted employees with a setlist spanning his entire career. Hits like “Help,” “Hey Jude,” and songs from his Wings era left the audience mesmerized.
Although the anniversary concerts were private events, McCartney shared highlights and behind-the-scenes moments from his visit to Apple Park, including his interaction with Tim Cook and the fireworks display.

It’s an incredibly special day for us, our 50th anniversary, and we could not be happier to have Paul here to share it with. We love the Beatles. We love the band itself. We love Paul. I can’t think of anyone better to celebrate the moment with.
