Meta’s ‘Horizon Plus’ Game Subscription Service Now Has Over 1M Active Members

Meta has announced a major milestone for its Horizon+ game subscription service, surpassing one million active subscribers.

Samantha Ryan, Reality Labs VP of Content, shared this achievement in a recent developer blog post, highlighting the service’s expansive catalog of over 100 games along with monthly additions.

Some of the popular titles featured on Horizon+ include Ghosts of Tabor, Job Simulator, Red Matter, Red Matter 2, Cubism, Pistol Whip, Moss, Maestro, Into Black, Racket Club, Demeo Battles, and Asgard’s Wrath 2. The full list can be viewed here.

This marks the first time Meta has disclosed active subscriber numbers for Horizon+, previously known as ‘Quest+’ upon its launch in 2023.

While Meta’s Q4 2025 earnings report lacked specific details on Reality Labs revenue, the $8 per month (or $60 per year) cost of Horizon+ suggests potential revenue ranging from $60 to $96 million.

It’s important to note that these figures may vary if users in the three-month trial period are included as ‘active’ members, a promotion tied to the purchase of new Quest 3 and Quest 3S devices. The revenue estimate also assumes a consistent one million subscriber count throughout 2025, without significant fluctuations.

Ryan also mentioned Meta’s successful holiday season, comparable to 2024 results despite no new device launches in 2025.

Furthermore, she highlighted stable payment volume on the Quest platform year-over-year, with a notable 13% increase in in-app purchases.
