Apple’s Unique Approach to Product Announcements
Apple has something special in store for the tech press on March 4. Instead of the usual single keynote event, the company is planning a “three-day flurry of announcements,” according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This unconventional approach will culminate in a unique “Apple experience” in New York, London, and Shanghai.
During these events, the press will have the opportunity to get hands-on with the upcoming products. John Gruber from Daring Fireball speculates that this experience may involve in-person demos.
At least five new products are expected to be announced, including a low-cost MacBook. Rumored possibilities also include the iPhone 17e, an iPad Air with an M4 chip, a new entry-level iPad, and upgraded MacBook Air and MacBook Pro models. While all of these products are slated for release this spring, it remains uncertain which ones will be unveiled during the upcoming events.
