Arc Raiders devs reveal plans for “new large Arc”, a fresh map, and two more Expeditions this spring

Exciting Updates Ahead for ARC Raiders in 2026

Attention defenders of Speranza! Embark has just unveiled their plans for the upcoming ARC Raiders updates in the first four months of 2026. The next season, titled Escalation, promises a host of new features including new maps, enemies, Raider decks, changes to existing maps, and more Expeditions. The highlight of the season is the introduction of a “new large Arc” set to arrive in April.

Let’s delve into the roadmap for the upcoming updates. This month will see the release of Headwinds, which includes a new matchmaking option for players above level 40, a new minor map condition, and a new player project. In February, players can look forward to Shrouded Sky, featuring a new map condition, Arc threat, player project, raider deck, map update, and Expedition.

March brings the arrival of Flashpoint, introducing a new map condition, Arc enemy, player project, and an update for Scrappy the junk-attracting chicken. Finally, in April, Riven Tides will debut with another new map and map condition, a second Expedition, and the highly anticipated “new large Arc”. Additionally, Embark is working on making Expeditions more diverse in the future.

For fans of frostbite, Embark assures that winter simulations are ongoing. The devs emphasize the lingering danger following the Cold Snap and hint at the continued challenge of extreme weather testing Raiders as they scavenge for vital resources. Furthermore, there are whispers of a new enemy from the Stella Montis region potentially making its way to other maps.
