Square Enix has announced the date and time for the upcoming reveal of the next installment in the Life is Strange series. The reveal livestream is set to take place on Tuesday, January 20th at 10am PST / 1pm EST / 6pm GMT / 7pm CET.
The teaser on the YouTube trailer simply states, “Separate the real from the rumor… Join us for the exclusive reveal of the next Life is Strange game.” However, the placeholder page hints at a title of “Life is Strange Returns in 2026.”
Recently, Square Enix faced a leak of information regarding Life is Strange: Reunion by the PEGI ratings board. The synopsis of the game, which has since been taken down, mentioned a storyline involving Chloe Price and Max Caulfield at Caledon University.
The Life is Strange series has seen different developers take on the franchise, with Deck Nine being responsible for the latest installments. Their most recent release, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, brought players back into Max Caulfield’s story.
In a review of the game, Reu praised its continuation of the series’ unique mystery elements and the ability to shift between timelines. The game received positive feedback for its smooth gameplay experience and narrative flow.
