Motorola’s Razr Fold pairs an 8.1-inch display with triple 50MP cameras

Motorola made a big splash at CES 2026 with the announcement of a lineup of exciting new products. Among these were a portable speaker, a smartwatch, a stylus, a Bluetooth tracker, and an AI-powered proof-of-concept wearable. However, stealing the spotlight was the Moto Razr Fold, a book-style folding smartphone that wowed attendees.

The Moto Razr Fold boasts an 8.1-inch LTPO inner display with 2.2K resolution and a 6.6-inch cover screen. The phone features a triple 50MP camera setup on the back, including a main sensor from Sony LYTIA, an ultrawide shooter, and a periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Additionally, it has a 32MP selfie camera on the cover screen and a 20MP front-facing sensor on the main display.

Motorola has revealed that the Razr Fold will come equipped with on-device AI features to simplify daily tasks. These include Catch Me Up, which summarizes messages and calls, and Next Move, offering personalized recommendations based on usage.

While the full specifications and price of the Razr Fold have not been disclosed, Motorola has confirmed that the phone will be available for purchase by the summer. Additionally, as the official smartphone partner of the 2026 FIFA World Cup, Motorola introduced a special World Cup 2026 Edition of the Razr 2025, featuring design elements inspired by the tournament.

In addition to smartphones, Motorola also showcased Qira, an AI assistant developed in collaboration with Lenovo, as well as other innovative products like the Moto Watch, Moto Pen Ultra stylus, and Moto Tag 2. These new offerings demonstrate Motorola’s commitment to cutting-edge technology and innovation in the consumer electronics space.
