The Game Bakers Announce New Release Date for Cairn
The Game Bakers have officially announced a new release date for their highly anticipated mountain climbing game, Cairn. Originally delayed in September due to the team needing more time, Cairn will now be released on January 29th for PC and PS5.
If you can’t wait for the full release, you can get a taste of the action by playing the Cairn demo on Steam and PS5. This will give you a sneak peek at what to expect on your thrilling climb of Mount Kami.
The Deluxe Edition of Cairn has also been unveiled, offering players exclusive content such as a Kami travel book, wallpapers, and three keepsakes that can be added to the main character Aava’s rucksack. Both the standard and Deluxe Editions will have a 10% launch discount, with the standard edition priced at $26.99/26.99€ / £22.99 / JP¥3060 / CN¥98 and the Deluxe Edition priced at $34.20/ 34.20€ / £28.60 / JP¥3924 / CN¥129.
In Cairn, players will embark on a thrilling adventure as explorer Aava, climbing the treacherous Mount Kami. Along the way, players will discover traces of past climbs, historical artifacts that reveal the mountain’s story, and encounter other climbers on their own journeys. Cairn offers a realistic climbing experience where players must guide Aava to secure holds while maintaining balance to prevent her from falling.
