Apple’s Quirky iPhone Pocket Is Officially Gone

Apple recently surprised fans with the release of a unique accessory, the iPhone Pocket. This knitted phone holder featured a high price tag and a blend of vintage Apple charm with modern fashion trends.

The design, created by Issey Miyake’s studio, resembled the iconic iPod Socks while still exuding a contemporary and stylish vibe. The versatile strap, despite its name, offered various wearing options and quickly caught the attention of Apple enthusiasts.

Priced at $150 and above, the iPhone Pocket was not meant for mass consumption. It was exclusively available in select flagship stores and online in limited quantities in certain countries. Demand for the product was unexpectedly high, leading to a swift sell-out worldwide within two weeks of its launch.

In the US, the accessory disappeared from online shelves within days, with in-store availability lasting slightly longer at the Apple SoHo store in New York. Despite lingering options in some international markets, the iPhone Pocket is now completely sold out.

As a limited-edition item, it is unlikely that Apple will restock the iPhone Pocket anytime soon. The scarcity of the product has fueled a surge in listings on resale platforms, with authentic and counterfeit versions vying for attention.

While genuine Apple Issey Miyake accessories may come at a premium, there are alternative options inspired by the original design available for those intrigued by the style. Caution is advised when considering these alternatives, as quality may vary.
