Exciting news for fans of Avatar: The Last Airbender and The Legend of Korra! Gameplay Group International has revealed that Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will soon be entering a closed alpha phase. While details on how to apply or the official release date are still pending, a teaser trailer showcasing Aang, Korra, and Zuko engaging in epic battles has been released.
Upon launch, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will feature a roster of 12 characters, with plans to expand through a seasonal model. Players can also choose support characters to aid them in combat, and a single-player story mode will be available. The development team has introduced a unique “Flow System” focused on movement in gameplay, crossplay functionality, and potential rebranding in the future. Confirmed characters include Aang, Korra, Zuko, Katara, Toph, Sokka, and Azula, with Korra representing The Legend of Korra while the rest hail from The Last Airbender series.
Anticipated for a 2026 release, Avatar Legends: The Fighting Game will be accessible on PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox Series XS, and Switch 2.
