The Mandalorian and Grogu will follow the next chapter of the adventures of this unlikely duo. The movie will star Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin, Jeremy Allen White as Rotta the Hutt, Jabba’s son, and Sigourney Weaver as a new ally to Din and Grogu. Jon Favreau, the creator of the original Disney+ series, will be directing the film.

Disney has set the premiere date for The Mandalorian and Grogu on 22 May 2026. Given the immense popularity of The Mandalorian series, tickets are expected to go on sale well in advance.
For previous Disney movies, tickets have gone on pre-sale anywhere from two and a half weeks to seven weeks before the cinematic premiere. Based on this, we anticipate that tickets for The Mandalorian and Grogu will likely go on sale between four to seven weeks before the film’s release.
