Schell Games, the developers behind popular titles like I Expect You to Die and Among Us VR (2022), have announced their latest project: a free-to-play online party game for Quest and PC VR headsets centered around a thrilling game of high-flying tag.
Named Project Freefall, the game challenges you and seven friends to a race towards Earth with only one parachute up for grabs.
But it’s not just about grabbing the parachute – as you plummet through the clouds, you’ll encounter grenades, fire extinguishers, sharks, fans, and various obstacles to navigate and outmaneuver your competitors.
According to Schell Games, the game promises intense moments as players race to be the last one standing before hitting the ground in an explosive finale.
Unlike their previous VR titles, Project Freefall takes a different approach as a third-person game that supports both PC and VR cross-play.
Project Freefall is set to debut in “earliest” access on the Horizon Store for Quest 2 and above, as well as on Steam and the Epic Games Store for PC and PC VR headsets.
