Upon the initial reveal of the T1 Phone by Trump Mobile, there was a sense of confusion surrounding the marketing strategy. The promotional material featured questionable renders that seemingly showcased an original phone design, alongside images of a gold-plated iPhone. Now, a new addition to the mix comes in the form of Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra.
Recently, the Trump Mobile team released an advertisement on X promoting preorders for the T1 Phone. However, the image accompanying the ad raised eyebrows as it depicted a gold-colored S25 Ultra with a T1 logo and US flag, clearly a Photoshopped rendition with visible traces of a Spigen case, including the Spigen logo left unaltered.
This choice is particularly noteworthy as the S25 Ultra bears even less resemblance to the official renders of the T1 Phone compared to the previously showcased iPhone. Even Spigen couldn’t help but point out the deception, humorously expressing disbelief in their response on X: “??? bro what”
The latest X post teases that the release of the T1 Phone is imminent, despite the initial launch dates of August and September (mentioned in the press release and on the site) being removed. The company has also shifted its messaging regarding the phone’s production, now emphasizing “American hands behind every device” instead of being entirely made in the USA. Additionally, the phone’s specifications have undergone changes, with the screen size now listed as 6.25 inches, a significant reduction from the originally announced 6.78-inch display.
