Indie Developer Releases Free Content Update for Promise Mascot Agency
Indie developer Kaizen Game Works has rolled out an exciting free content update for their open-world game, Promise Mascot Agency, described as a “mascot management crime drama.”
The latest update is now available on all platforms and introduces a range of new features including a truck upgrade, mascot time trials, additional Pinky nails, new Mascot Support Heroes, and more.
Here’s a breakdown of the new update along with an accompanying trailer:
Prepare to Grind Update:
- Introduction of an extra truck upgrade that enables players to grind on rails and train tracks. To utilize this feature, players need to unlock the upgrade and then jump at a metal fence or train track, and press INTERACT to grind.
- Addition of Time Trials with ten challenges to conquer. Meeting par times unlocks new hero cards. Time Trials become accessible after interacting with Shiori at the stage outside the agency and recruiting specific mascots.
- Inclusion of difficulty modes that can be adjusted at the start of a new game or in the Options menu. The difficulty setting impacts sending money to Matriarch Shimazu.
- Introduction of a variety of new hero cards available from Captain Sign, Kaso-Mart stores, and Time Trials. These cards feature collaborations with popular indie games like Unbeatable, Sorry We’re Closed, Paradise Killer, and Dunk Dunk.
- Interactivity with all Kaso Marts where players can explore and discover new items.
- Availability of the vocal version of the music track “Promises Lost (Promises Found)” for purchase from Captain Sign.
- Additional seasonal props for Halloween, Christmas, Children’s Day, and Obon celebrations.
- Expansion of Pinky nails collection with various nails appearing in the world after recruiting mascots or unlocking them from Captain Sign.
- Option to customize button prompts based on different controller types for PC players.
- Music track skip enabled on controllers and keyboard for enhanced gameplay experience.
Bug Fixes and Improvements:
- Resolved issues with the crane game.
- Enhanced max stamina rewards from mascot Life Satisfaction events.
- Fixed the Neko-Roll bug that caused infinite items to be obtained.
- Addressed visibility issues with characters in specific mascot Life Satisfaction events.
- Fixed logic problems related to Kannushi-kun’s Town Quest.
- Implemented audio fixes and improvements.
- Added controller icon type selection option for PC players.
- Enhanced UI and fixed bugs for a smoother gameplay experience.
- Added Y-FOV option for enhanced visuals.
- Fixed potential softlock situations in dialogue UI.
