Everything new in iOS 26 beta 7

iOS 26 beta 7 has been released for iPhones on the developer beta release cycle. Here, we are compiling all the changes in iOS 26 beta 6 compared to the previous version.

The Power Mode settings now include a new option for Adapter Power Notifications. This could be to alert users when performance may decrease to preserve battery. The toggle is separate from Adaptive Power, allowing users to control their experience.


9to5Mac has confirmed that iOS 26 beta 7 and watchOS 27 beta 7 now support Apple’s redesigned blood oxygen measurement feature in the US. Apple recently received approval for a workaround amidst ongoing patent litigation with Masimo. The next public beta is expected to include this workaround on all devices. The feature had been disabled for Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Ultra 2 customers in the US for a few years before last week.

Messages now have a Drafts option in the filter view.


In macOS Tahoe, the MacBook notch is back in the onboarding video introduced in beta 6, but without its notch.
