The highly anticipated Pixel 10 phones are on the verge of being officially revealed by Google, and a recent leak suggests a major upgrade is in store.
While leaks have already confirmed that the Pixel 10 phones will feature Qi2 wireless charging, there are hints of a significant speed boost on the wired charging front as well.
Retailers like PC Canada have unintentionally unveiled some of the new accessories, including the upcoming ‘Google 67W Dual Port Power Adapter’ priced at $79.
The existing Pixel 9 phones, when paired with the right model, can charge at up to 37W via USB-C. Could we be looking at a 30W upgrade with the Pixel 10?

Although a 30W upgrade seems unlikely, it does suggest that the Pixel 10 phones (depending on the model) could receive faster charging capabilities.
Google’s current proprietary charger stands at 45W, surpassing the 37W of the Pixel 9 Pro XL. While the Pixel 10 may not reach 67W, an enhancement to 45W is plausible, aligning with the Galaxy S25 Ultra.
It’s important to note that this charger features two ports, allowing the speed to be divided between both, enabling two devices to charge simultaneously.
While the introduction of Qi2 wireless charging and the imminent ‘Pixelsnap’ accessories, potentially including a Pixel Stand 3 or equivalent, are exciting developments, improved wired charging speeds are also a positive change—especially considering Google and Samsung’s lag behind competitors in this aspect.
All final details will be unveiled at the Made by Google event on Wednesday. Stay tuned for more Pixel updates until then.
