Slime Rancher 2 Full Release Date Announced
Monomi Park has officially revealed that the highly anticipated v1.0 full release of Slime Rancher 2 is set to launch on 23rd September 2025. Players can look forward to enjoying the game on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on the same day.
The upcoming full release will introduce a significant update, including a fresh take on Drones with a Quantum twist, additional gadgets and upgrades, new exciting locations to explore, and much more.
In addition to the digital release, Monomi Park has teamed up with iam8bit for a physical release scheduled for 14th January 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Those who pre-order will receive a Slime Rancher 2 soundtrack download, a fold-out poster designed by acclaimed art director Yusuke Naora, and exclusive items such as a sticker sheet of adorable slimes and an O-Sleeve featuring Beatrix LeBeau and the rest of the crew. The iam8bit Exclusive Edition is available for pre-order until 26th August.
Slime Rancher 2 has been eagerly awaited since its initial announcement in 2021. The game entered early access on PC and Xbox in 2022, with continuous updates and new content being added over the years. Notably, the PS5 early access launch took place in June 2024.
Reflecting on the game’s progress, it’s been a while since the author’s last check-in. The original Slime Rancher’s charm is evident in the sequel, with the Early Access version showcasing a gradual evolution of the beloved farming gameplay. Exciting developments are anticipated as the game continues to expand.
