Netflix’s library is always changing, which means that some licensed content eventually leaves the platform. This month, Dexter bid farewell to Netflix.
Dexter, starring Michael C. Hall, follows a man living a double life. By day, he works in the police forensic department; by night, he hunts and kills serial killers who have escaped justice. The series is known for its controversial ending.
As of June 18, 2025, Dexter is no longer available on Netflix US. However, it can now be streamed on Paramount+ (with a seven-day free trial). If you can’t afford another streaming subscription but still want to watch Dexter, there’s a way to do so on Netflix.
How to Watch Dexter on Netflix UK from the US
I’m in the UK, where all eight seasons of Dexter are still accessible for streaming. For viewers outside the UK, using a VPN can grant access to the British Netflix library from anywhere, including the US.
