Unlocking Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World

Despite the absence of a 200cc mode in Mario Kart World, players can still unlock Mirror Mode for an added challenge. However, the requirements for unlocking Mirror Mode have been a bit elusive. But fear not, as we have cracked the code on how to unlock Mirror Mode in Mario Kart World.

Steps to Unlock Mirror Mode

To unlock Mirror Mode, you must complete the following tasks:

  • Finish all Grand Prix races at 150cc
  • Complete all Knockout Tours at 150cc
  • Collect at least 10 Peach Medallions
  • Discover at least 10 Hidden Question (?) Panels
  • Finish at least 10 P Switch missions

Once you have completed the above tasks, replay the Special Cup in Grand Prix mode.

Upon completing the Special Cup, a cutscene will play, and you will receive a notification that Mirror Mode has been unlocked!

From now on, Mirror Mode will be available as a difficulty option for Grand Prix, Knockout Tour, and VS Race modes, as well as for free-roaming in the open-world map.

Exploring Mirror Mode in Free-Roam

To explore the free-roam map in Mirror Mode, head to the Peach Stadium track and make your way to Peach’s Castle. Drive up to the stained-glass window at the top of the castle, enter it, and voila – the free-roam map will be mirrored!
