Just a day after its release, the internet has already weighed in on Elden Ring Nightreign, with many players commenting on the game’s difficulty when playing solo. Bandai Namco and FromSoftware have taken note of this feedback and have announced an upcoming patch that will address this issue by introducing improvements for solo expeditions. One of the key changes will be the addition of the “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat” effect, allowing players to revive once per night boss battle during solo play. In addition, the amount of runes gained will be increased. The Nightreign patch will also include the usual bug fixes and improvements.
From Software has also revealed that they achieved an impressive milestone by selling 2 million copies of the game in just one day. Despite this success, Elden Ring Nightreign has not received universal acclaim like its predecessor, currently holding a score of 77 on Metacritic. Our own review gave the game a solid 7/10 rating, with Jim expressing mixed feelings about the game’s multiplayer focus compared to the studio’s previous titles.
Elden Ring Nightreign is available on various platforms including PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
