Exciting news for fans of the Warhammer 40,000 universe as the annual Skulls event has brought us a plethora of Games Workshop-related updates. From the return of Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War to a remastered version of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine, there’s a lot to look forward to. But let’s not forget about Warhammer 40,000: Darktide, as the all-new Arbites class is set to join the roster on June 23rd.
The Arbites are no-nonsense law enforcers in the Imperium, akin to Judge Dredd but with even fewer inhibitions. Armed with powerful weapons and a cybernetic dog, they are not to be trifled with. This canine companion is trained to hunt down and eliminate enemies of the Emperor without hesitation, as seen in the intense CG trailer. I’m eager to see how this new class adds to the gameplay experience.
Originally released in 2022 for Xbox and PC, Darktide made its way to PS5 last year. This multiplayer co-op shooter immerses players in the dark and gritty Hive City of Tertium, offering thrilling action reminiscent of classics like Left 4 Dead within the grim Warhammer 40,000 universe.
