Publisher and developer Spike Chunsoft unveiled a new trailer for No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES, a thrilling detective adventure game within the AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES series.

In this game, players step into the shoes of Kaname Date, the main character, as he joins forces once more with the AI-Ball, Aiba, to solve a perplexing case and save Iris, an internet sensation trapped in a dangerous escape game. The new addition, “Escape”, introduces a fresh gameplay element where players must solve puzzles to unlock rooms. By navigating through “Investigation”, “Somnium”, and “Escape” sections, players gather clues necessary to crack the case.
The game is helmed by director Kazuya Yamada and features renowned talents such as Kotaro Uchikoshi overseeing as series director, Yusuke Kozaki as character designer, and Keisuke Ito as the music composer.
Plot Synopsis
Following the resolution of The New Cyclops Serial Killings, internet idol Iris Sagan, also known as “A-set”, is abducted and forced to participate in a treacherous escape game. Simultaneously, a mysterious coffin-like device is discovered in another part of the city with a cryptic note attached. Special Agent Kaname Date, accompanied by his partner Aiba, embarks on a mission to locate the UFO responsible for Iris’s abduction.
No Sleep For Kaname Date – From AI: THE SOMNIUM FILES is set to release on July 25th for Windows PC (via Steam), Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 worldwide.
