Highly Anticipated Release of The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC
Exciting news for gamers as Sony gears up to release The Last of Us Part II Remastered for PC, timed perfectly with the upcoming season of the popular television series. With both set to launch next month, Sony has unveiled a list of PC features and system specifications that are sure to excite fans. The hope is that this remastered version will have a smoother launch compared to its predecessor.
The system requirements for The Last of Us Part II closely mirror those of the first game’s PC conversion, with a few notable changes including an increased storage requirement of 150 GB compared to the original’s 100 GB. This bump in storage is likely due to the sequel’s longer story mode.
Graphics card requirements have remained largely unchanged, with Sony recommending an Nvidia RTX 3070 or an AMD Radeon RX 6800 to achieve 60 frames per second at 1440p.

One key improvement is the hope that The Last of Us Part II won’t face the same texture memory issues as its predecessor, which notably affected the performance of the RTX 3070. The game also supports AMD’s FidelityFX Super Resolution 4 for improved image quality on AMD GPUs.
The Last of Us Part II features slightly lower CPU requirements than the first game, making it accessible to a wider range of players. The game also supports ultra-wide aspect ratios, haptic feedback for DualSense controllers, and DirectStorage technology.
Players can look forward to new content in the form of four new maps for the “No Return” survival mode and two new playable characters, Bill and Marlene. Additionally, the game offers the option to connect a PlayStation Network account for added benefits.
The Last of Us Part II will be available on Steam and the Epic Games Store starting April 3 for $49.99. Fans can also look forward to the second season of the TV series, which premieres on April 13 and covers events from the sequel.
