While there are many brands offering robot vacuums, one name that stands out is Roomba by iRobot. Despite the recent influx of new models from other brands, iRobot has been relatively quiet – until now.
It turns out, iRobot has been busy preparing its largest-ever lineup of robot vacuums, set to be available for pre-order starting March 18th in the US and select European countries on iRobot.com.
The new lineup includes four models, with prices starting at €399/$469 for the Roomba 105 Combo and going up to €799/$999 for the top-of-the-line Roomba Plus 505 Combo, which features an AutoWash dock for automatic cleaning and maintenance.
Each model will come with enhanced features such as stronger suction, improved Lidar navigation, better mopping capabilities, automatic carpet detection, and object avoidance. The higher-end models will also include iRobot’s PrecisionVision AI Technology for advanced obstacle identification.
One standout feature of the Roomba 505 Combo is its extending mop pads for edge cleaning, making it a versatile option for all types of flooring.
While the new models may not bring any groundbreaking features to the market, the focus is on performance and reliability. With competitive pricing and the trusted Roomba brand name, these new robots are sure to be a hit among consumers.
