OnePlus recently launched its highly anticipated Watch 3, but a hilarious typo on the backplate has caused quite a stir, turning the smartwatch into a potential collector’s item.
If you haven’t caught wind of the online chatter, the initial batch of OnePlus Watch 3 devices featured a comical misprint that read “Meda in China” instead of the correct “Made in China.”
In response to the blunder, OnePlus’s US team acknowledged that the typo was completely unintentional.
In a light-hearted manner, they even suggested that those in possession of a “Meda in China” Watch 3 should consider keeping it as a “super limited edition.”

If the idea of owning a timepiece with a typo doesn’t appeal to you, OnePlus is offering free returns. However, if you’re in possession of one of these unique watches, you might want to think twice before sending it back, as it could become a quirky piece of tech history on your wrist.
Priced at £319/$329.99, the OnePlus Watch 3 is available in two elegant finishes: Obsidian Titanium and Emerald Titanium.
