MindsEye is launching in Everywhere, but what does that mean?

MindsEye was officially unveiled during the latest State of Play broadcast and stood out as one of the most impressive titles featured, boasting intense action and stunning lighting effects. In case you missed the trailer, be sure to watch it below and pay close attention to the names and logos revealed in the final moments.

The game is currently in development by Build A Rocket Boy, the same team behind Everywhere, a revolutionary platform that allows users to create games and worlds without any coding knowledge. While some may have overlooked the Everywhere branding in the MindsEye trailers, we couldn’t help but notice it and reached out to the publishers, IOI Partners, for more details.

IOI Partners remained tight-lipped about specific details but did confirm that “MindsEye will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and EVERYWHERE, Build A Rocket Boy’s immersive entertainment platform.”

This revelation indicates that MindsEye will be accessible through Everywhere, potentially suggesting that Everywhere may have expanded to consoles or can create standalone versions of games like MindsEye. It would be quite ambitious to develop separate versions of the game.

Moreover, Everywhere’s feature of “reusing and remixing creations from others” raises questions about the possibility of users dissecting MindsEye and creating their own iterations of the game. While PC gaming has a history of modding, the concept of completely remixing a game with its assets is groundbreaking.

With anticipation building, we eagerly await further updates from IOI Partners and Build A Rocket Boy!
