Sanzaru Games, known for the popular Asgard’s Wrath franchise, has recently released the final content update for the Quest exclusive Asgard’s Wrath 2 (2023). With this update, the studio is now shifting its focus towards their next big project.
The latest update, titled ‘The Long Winter’, marks the twelfth and final ‘Cosmic Event’ for Asgard’s Wrath 2. Players can participate in time-gated challenges to earn points and unlock exclusive cosmetics. This update concludes the major content additions for the game, with the studio stating that future updates will focus on addressing major issues and bug fixes.
Following the success of Asgard’s Wrath 2, Sanzaru Games is now teasing their upcoming project, promising something “AWESOME” for their community. After being acquired by Meta (formerly Facebook) in 2020, the studio has been dedicated to creating immersive experiences for XR headsets. With their expertise in RPG development evident in their previous titles, fans can expect something exciting from Sanzaru in the near future.
