Exciting Updates Coming to Palworld
A major update for Palworld is set to be released in December, bringing with it a massive new island for players to explore. In addition, Pocketpair has announced a collaboration with Terraria for their monster-catching survival game, scheduled to debut in 2025.
Details are scarce at the moment, but the new island is expected to be six times larger than Sakurajima, the previous addition in June. This new area will introduce “Powerful tower bosses and many vicious new species of Pals lurk here.”
Players can also look forward to a plethora of new content being added to the game.
Palworld made its debut in early access on PC and Xbox earlier this year, followed by a release on PlayStation in September. The game gained popularity for its unique concept of combining Pokémon with guns, appealing to a wide range of gamers with its blend of genres.
However, the game has faced legal challenges, with Nintendo and The Pokémon Company filing a lawsuit against the developer in September for alleged patent infringement. Pocketpair has vowed to defend against the lawsuit, although the outcome remains uncertain.
Despite the legal issues, Pocketpair remains committed to delivering substantial updates like the upcoming island expansion.
